Marsha Waybright – A Randolph County, WV native originally from Middle Mountain, Marsha is happily married to Kendall Waybright a Tucker County native. She successfully runs four businesses in Jenningston, WV and now farms both Randolph and Tucker counties. The businesses are: Laurel River Club B&B, Laurel Fork Farm, Mama Bear Protection and the West Virginia School of Traditional Skills, a 501c3 nonprofit organization in which she founded. Marsha is a motivational speaker who uses her many talents to educate others and teach them how to use natural resources while conserving the land. She has been involved with agriculture her entire life and the basis she uses to share her knowledge is the 250-acre educational Laurel Fork Farm. Marsha is a Master Artisan in soap making, Master Gardener, certified animal trainer, certified USCCA instructor, certified Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED instructor, herbalist, Bible teacher, and has homeschooled three children. The educational farm is a family affair and she often incorporates her son’s business, Laurel Fork Falconry, her daughter’s business It’s Kendra Paige, her daughter-in-law’s business Redhead N Mudboots, her youngest daughter, and husband into the many educational experiences for visitors to the B&B, of which she is property manager. Her love for the rich history of the area and conservation efforts have helped preserve the legacy of Jenningston, WV, once a vibrant logging community. In partnering with other entities, Marsha uses the West Virginia School of Tradition Skills (WVSTS) to educate others about the importance of conservation, preservation and agriculture. She not only has created a variety of outlets and experiential programs to reach others who want a homesteading life style but WVSTS has now been approved by the West Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine to teach CE hours for Veterinarians, Registered Veterinarian Technicians, and Certified Animal Euthanasia Technicans. The farm and B&B have very high ratings with Airbnb, Expedia, and Booking.com and have had guests visit from over 40 countries and all but 6 of the US states. Laurel Fork Farm was named Conservation Farm of the Year for Tucker County 2023, the story of Jenningston and LRCBNB was featured Goldenseal Magazine in the Summer 2023 issue. She was chosen by Meta, owner of Instagram and Facebook, to go to Washington DC and speak to WV legislatures about small businesses and marketing options, she continues to be a mentor for Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College. In addition to being inducted into the West Virginia Women of Agriculture in 2023, Marsha was a speaker for the 2023 West Virginia Governor’s Conference on Tourism and the 2023 Women of Agriculture Conference.

Nita Hobbs, MA – CEO/Executive Director, West Virginia Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (WVARF)
An experienced leader and problem solver, Nita has over 7 years of Management and Accounting experience, as well as a Master of Arts Degree. She is also a current MBA Candidate with a focus in accounting and will graduate in Fall 2024. As a systems thinker, she was integral in the reorganization and upgrade of the accounting system for WVARF in 2020. Her experience includes human resources functions and management, accounting functions and management, vendor and employee training and development, curriculum development, inventory management and project management.
Her current and previous non-profit work focuses on changing the narrative of what it means to live, work and recreate in West Virginia. Nita owns and operates a hobby farm in Barbour County growing hops and producing value-added canned goods for sale. She is a member of the Mountain State Co-Hop, and works to further their mission of strengthening the network of hop-growers and value-added producers around the state. Nita enjoys traveling around West Virginia backpacking, off-roading and kayaking with her husband and two dogs.
Retired Chapel US Army Ceremonial Organist and Chapel Choirmaster, Ft. Myer VA retired after 45 years of service on June 10, 2011. He has performed over 35,000 funeral/memorial services throughout the years for soldiers and families alike, along with over 3000 weddings. He has been organist /choirmaster for the Roman Catholic Congregation for Sunday services since 1966. He additionally was appointed by the Post Chaplain, COL William Martin as organist/choirmaster for General Protestant Congregation when he installed as successor to William H. Heasley as civil service employee in 1977.
Some of Schaff's most memorable services include; memorial services for the Challenger and Columbia astronauts, boxer Joe Lewis, General Creighton Abrams, Supreme Court Justices Goldberg and Powell, Mamie Eisenhower, and 48 victims of 9/11 Pentagon disaster including the pilot of the American Airlines plane that crashed into the Pentagon.
